What we consider as food comes in very many forms. We have what was referred to as food for humans at the time of creation. This is referred to as organic whole foods.. They were associated with high nutritional content and were free from any human additives e.g pesticides etc. They contained the prescribed nutritional value for our bodies as offered by nature.

In the modern times man has used technology to process and refine the original foods and come up with his own new products. A whole new industry has been developed and is worth trillions of dollars. Driven by the profit motive and prolonging products shelf lives, refining, processing and additives like flavorants, preservatives have found a place. Some of the things we refer to as foods have never grown in nature. They have never had roots in the soil. They contain man made semi-synthetic materials that create havoc in the human body. Human body manages whole organic foods with ease. Processed foods lack nutrients that were extracted from them in the process to make feeds for animals. The body therefore has to recall nutrients from it’s stores to help metabolise these products. They therefore end up depleting the bodies natural emergency reserves. A condition of malnutrition may therefore result. Sodas and juices are simply colors, artificial flavorants and preservatives. The body considers them as toxins. They overload the elimination organs e.g kidneys, skin and liver. Therefore when we talk about nutrition we end up consuming nutrient deficient products in modern times due to technological advancements. We aren’t eating the original stuff but its man made duplicate. What would you expect as a result? Of course a malnourished generation giving birth to another set of even more malnourished ones! For how long can this trend go into the future? End of times?
Diseases whose root causes are claimed to be unknown are proliferating. We refer to them as lifestyle diseases. Take note that you choose your lifestyle hence should also take 100% responsibility for the outcome diseases. These are the new malnutrition diseases of this century. My people perish due to lack of knowledge is quote from the scripture books that has a place here. Diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, cancer, arthritis, heart disease and strokes are becoming more visible within the populations. These diseases are preventable through a good program on preventive health. Natural whole foods are the remedies of these conditions. We need to encourage organic farming amongst our farmers to help fight off lifestyle diseases and cut down the national health budget. However society is moving towards genetically modified, processed and refined foods. A deficient diet that promotes lifestyle diseases. Our mouths have also fallen in love with sugar! Products that contain refined sugars are the in thing in peoples nutrition. We are feeding our children this. We are bringing up malnourished children who develop a host of ailments whose root causes are unknown! Processed and refined white sugar has been described as an anti-nutrient. When consumed it provokes a sudden rise in the blood sugar that results in the overwork of the pancreas in the release of insulin to help neutralise this. Over time the pancreas may malfunction leading to diabetes. The sugar is also converted to cholesterol and may.be deposited in the arteries leading to the condition referred to as arteriosclerosis. One may therefore end up having constricted arteries leading to high blood pressure. Cardiac blockage risk is also elevated including suffering from a stroke. Impotence may also arise due to reduced circulation in men.
A number of foods have been identified to cause problems in different blood types. One mans food may be another man’s poison. We are genetically similar based on our blood types. Different foods affect both our digestive and immune functions. Foods have been found to also have the power to turn on or off our genes.
A blood type A for example will gain weight through consumption of meat and become obese. Blood type O on the other hand gain weight through the consumption of wheat products. Blood type B is affected by a lectin found in chicken. It may affect their nervous system, cause blood disorders and numbness. Potatoes destroy the cartilage tissues in blood group O. Foods have also been identified to trigger arthritis in different people. Some other triggers may be peanuts, wheat, soya, eggs, beef, milk, tomato, oranges, bacon etc.

It is therefore important that you know your blood type to be able to map out a diet plan tailored for you genetically. Know the good, the bad and the ugly diet for your blood type. One diet matches all does not work. We are not the same based on blood types. Blood type A tend to produce a lot of mucous in the chest because of milk. They may therefore present symptoms of allergy or asthma like. Removing the milk from the diet may be the only miracle required to solve the problem.
