Garlic and onions have been known throughout history as very powerful natural anti thrombotic factor. They help prevent clot formation and also have the ability to dissolve clots. Garlic has a number of active compounds that produces this effect amongst them being ajoene and adenosine.

We are living in hard times of the pandemic whereby clotting of the blood is taking a great toll of human life. Therefore diet may actually play a vital part in both the prevention and breaking of clots. Prevention is better than cure. Why not add some garlic in your diet. You never know when it may become handy when the unseen guest knocks on your door. That’s one of the most healthy decision you can make during these hard times. Eat for health, you and your loved ones, neighbors and community.

Garlic may be taken either raw or cooked to benefit from it’s active function in both prevention and clot dissolution. One or two garlics a day may play a very important role in healthy living hence keeping disease at bay. Garlic may be crushed and pounded for juice extraction. One may add a teaspoon or two of this juice in a glass of water.

Garlic also has a host of other benefits. It can help in the fight to destroy cholera and typhoid microbes. It is also active against a number of microbes that are harmful to human beings both gram positive and gram negative. Garlic has beneficial effects in colds and flu. In people suffering from h.pylori, it’s worth noting that garlic can destroy this gastric ulcer causing microorganism. It’s frequent consumption should be useful in h.pylori infection prevention. It’s a natural food remedy. They also have antifungal and antiviral properties.
